" Hmm... I think that was the day that I was in a very caring mood. So you better hold in that laughter of yours ," Jessica said with a cold smirk. Sighing she said ," First. I can call you whatever you want. It's not like your going to do anything about it. Second , you have no clue what I've been through either. And third , let's say I dare to admit I want to TRY and become friends with you. Are you sure you want to become friends with me?"

Jessica looked at him in shock. How could he call her sweetie? Jessica was right about to snap at him but instead she held it in and said ," Like I said before. Don't call me sweetie boy. There is only person who can call me anything they like. And it isn't you."

Jared smirked..." welll...i would like to become friends but you don't seem to really want to. and what have you been through that i haven't?"

" if that is the way it is going to be then you can't call me anything except Jared...or Jarebear, that is my nickname if you must know. You better not laugh at it or else.

Jessica tried to hold in her laugh but it didn't work. Finally she stopped laughing and said ," Jarebear? I must admit that is the most adorable thing I have ever heard somebody call somebody. And to answer your first question , those things must be unknown. Unless you want to die that badly."

Smiling she said ," But .. hey .. if you want to call me all those pet names .. prove to me why you would call me them. I mean .. seriously .. only like people dating call eachother sweetie and everything. So why would you want to call me that , boy?"

" well in that case...yes, i do want to die a horrible death."

" why do you think? You were the one that was calling me...what was it...darling...and we are NOT going out...like you say... that is what we have to be doing if we want to call each other sweetie and EVERYTHING! Besides...who would want to go out with you anyways?"Jared said to irritate her.

" Never said we were. And I wouldn't even give you the time of day. And who would want to go out me? Maybe the Head Boy of Gryffindor ," Jessica said. Not really liking the whole Gryffndor part she still smiled. Looking down at the ground for a moment and then back at him she said ," Still .. you can't call me that. And I thought you were going to do something if I laughed at your nickname?"

Taking one step closer she said ," What are gunna do. Hit me? Had it done already. Have a spell sent at me? Went through probly one of the worst spells ever thanks to my dad. So .. it can't be that bad can it?"

" Dante Sparde? WOW! Never thought i could see you guys together. How come you dislike Slytherins so much and like Gryffindors so much? I mean...you yourself is a Slytherin."

" oh, you'll find out soon enough...so for now...that is for me to know and for you to eventually find out."

Rolling her eyes she could tell Jared knew he was getting to her. Crossing her arms once more she said ," Besides him and Quade I don't like many other Gryffindorks. And Slytherins? I like some of the Slytherin's that are actually just like me. But some around here .. just don't cut it."

Biting on her lip she thought about the first time she met Dante. She suddenly stopped and said ," And how comes you couldn't imagine us two together? I mean besides the whole house rivalry and him being a pretty boy what else is the difference?"

" well...you seem to like the Gryffie's more then the Slytherin to me. Same for me..." after this remark..he stared coldly at Jess and he thought to himself,' why am i waisting my time...talking to this girl...?'

" i just couldn't see you guys together...mainly because he is a lot nicer then you. We could forget about this whole argument and we could just start over by re-introducing ourselves. That is, if you want a friend and not an enemy..."Jared waited for what Jess might do next.

Jessica thought about it. Having another enemy? She already had plenty , even away from the school. And a friend? She wouldn't consider him as a friend , not yet. But she decided she would give him a chance. Smirking she said ," Fine. Let's re-introduce ourselves. You can start though , and for the record I could care less what you call me."

" ok...fine..." Jared stuck out his hand and said to Jess in a cooling polite tone," Hey...I am Jared Spurr...just call me Jared though...what is your name? " he waited for her to shake his hand and he was still leaned against the old tree.

Jessica shook his hand lightly , but with a firm griph and said ," Jessica Riddle. Call me whatever you like." Letting go after a moment she said ," Are you gunna be signing up for Quiddict for your house?"

Almost trying to once agian hold in her laugh she thought to herself This is abosutely rediculous. Ha! I want to see if he is , better be a suck up to me. Then he won't be able to join the team. Miley is even lucky she got passed me.[/i]

" i don't think i will this year...but maybe next. I am not even taking flying lessons so i don't know if i want to do next year either. what about you though? "

[Jessica Riddle]

Jessica nodded and said ," I'm captian. I'll gadly teach ya how to fly , it is basically easy really. So .. do you want to learn or not? Totally up to you , I mean it would be a good thing for another player on the team."

" sure i guess. Is it hard to fly? and when and where would you teach me how? What place should i get on the team too? " Jared was really scared about Quidditch...he didn't know how to fly and he didn't know what each place did. He just like watching people hit a ball around.

Jessica smiled as she could tell her was a bit scared. Rolling her eyes she pulled out her wand and said ," Accio broom." As her very own broom came flying she held out her hand and it landed perfectly. Looking back at Jared she said ," This is my broom. It's a a Firebolt. This thing , you wouldn't be able to handle."

Nodding she said ," First .. to learn how to use a broom you need to know how to get it up to you. Want me to show you?"
