No Friends (open)

Quade walked down the coridor. It was a boring day. He had been here a week he didn't have any friends. He wished he had someone to talk to, but he didn't talk. he blamed himself for not having any friends.

"Why do i have to be so shy? Why can't i talk to people without walking away? Why can't i be friendly and interesting like everyone else?" Quade asked himself this over and over again out loud. He felt like he wasn't worth anything. Every time he tried to make friends, he would walk away, or he wouldn't speak and expect others to start the conversation.

What he didn't realize was that if he talked, he probably would be very interesting. His life was interesting, but he didn't know it.

Quade continued to walk through the halls and gaze at the empty part of the wall, thinking about his life, his family, and what he would do if they all existed. He had held in the pain for 13 years, and finally, it came out.

Tears raced down his face. He had but 1 family member. He had no freinds, just one aquantince, Jared Spurr. At Quade's house, the years he had spent before hogwarts, he hardly talked at all, therefore he did't have any freinds, at all.
"why am i such a loser?" He yelled, still crying.

Walking through the corridors the only thing Jessica wanted to do was getting away from everybody. Why? She had no clue , but she just needed to get away for awhile. Her eyes darted from student to student that gazed at her and the only thing she would do was glare at them and then they would rush away.

Finally stopping as a scream caught her ears she heard somebody sobbing. Not the best thing Jess really wanted to deal with right now. But heck , if it kept her busy it was perfectly fine. Walking until she noticed a boy crying she sighed. She wasn't that kind of person who cared for everybody. Actually she didn't care for anybody except herself and her parents , not even her own sisters.

Walking closer hoping not to startle the student she put a hand on his shoulder and said softly ," Letting everything out finally?"

Quade turned at the slytherin who had just put a hand on his shoulder. He was slightly embarresed, butit was nothing different that what he usually felt. He let a few tears fall, then said,"yeah, i guess so." Quade could tell that the girl was not feeling very happy to be there, but maybe she just wasn't happy. He looked up and said, "i understand if you want to... well, if you want to leave." then he added, "most people do anyway." He didn't want to hert her feelings.

Jessica listened to closely to what this young boy said. Shaking her head she said with a little bit of a caring look in her eyes ," No. I'll stay here. Plus it looks like you need some company." Taking her freezing cold hand of his shoulder she looked straight at him and said ," What's your name , house , and why are you so down if you don't mind me asking all of that?"

Hoping that he wouldn't run away from her if he asked her name back she bit her lip. She remembered the first day she came here and she snapped at some new kid , then they asked her name and she told them Riddle. The poor kid ran off. Smirking at the thought she quickly pushed it away waiting for his answer.

Quade gathered up his confidence and after about 5 minutes, he spoke. "I'm Quade Sears, in Gryffindor. Uh," Quade thought of a way to put what he was wanting to say, and finally, he mumbled, "i'm down because, well, for starters, i only have a dad for a family member, and he didn't want me to come here. Also, i'm 15 years old, i finally convinced my dad to let me come here, and i havn't had one friend in my entire life. the only person i have talked to here is Jared. Well, and you." Quade cried for a moment then lifted his head, and said, "What is your name?"

Jessica listened closely to what he was telling her. Holding in her grudge to just leave the boy alone she didn't. He did some like he needed a friend in his life. But Jessica herself never really had a friend only a boy that was more than friend. Sighing she said ," I'm Jessica Riddle. But you can call me Riddle. I'm the headgirl for Slytherin , but please don't feel so intimated. Exspecially by my last name."

Nodding as she said all this she crossed her arms and put all her weight which wasn't a lot on her one side. Then placing her hands on her hips she said ," You know. You can consider me a friend if ya want. I never really had a friend because I'm just to stubborn to put my trust in anybody. I rather be alone , but somebody opened up my eyes. And now I'm rabbling." A smile , a real smile appearing she couldn't believe it. She never smiled a real smile , only a smirk or a small smile.[/b]

Quade looked at Jessica. "why would i be intimidated? your nice, and who cares what your last name is?" Quade smiled at her comment about being stubborn, then said, "well, you don't seem very stubborn to me. But then again, if you were, i wouldn't be able to tell, i'm stubborn as well." Quade said. He straightened up from his slup on the ground and said, "thanks. How old are ou?" He noticed that when he was not curled up in a ball on the ground, he was taller than the slytherin girl. 'it's probably because i wasn't allowed to come to hogwarts till now, they are all younger than me...' He thought.

Looking up at him she said ," Well first. You caught me on a good day. Today I'm feeling the oppisite on my true self. But soon enough you will see why people are inimated by me. But anyway.. 15 years old. Oldest out of the three Riddle sisters here."

Quade looked at Jessica. "you have siblings then? how old are they?" Quade asked, looking at Jessica.

Nodding agian she said ," 14 I think , and I don't know the youngest one. I recently just found out about that little quirt that's in Gryffindor." Almost getting a mad look in her eyes she looked away and said ," I mean nothing agianst Gryffindor. They have a terrific Headboy to be exact." Looking back at Quade with a smile she said ," But yeah. I'm not to fond of them though. One is to stubborn , and the other one just .. I don't know."

Quade laughed. "you don't know your own siblings ages?" he found this funny. if he had siblings still alive, he would know their age. " i remember the age of my dead siblings."

" Well. I sort of just met them. The only thing I know is that they are nothing like me and my father. But hopefully they will be soon. I know they cause trouble a lot though , so I warned them not too ," Jessica said with a smile.

Then giving him a caring look and a warm smile she said ," Wow. I'm sorry about your dead siblings."

"all my family is dead, my gradparents, aunts, uncles, everything... exept my dad." Quade said. "i just learn to deal with it... they died at my birthday party when i was 2 years old."

[color=LimeGreen " Oh my god. This is horrible ," Jessica said. She couldn't help but give him a comforting hug. A hug from Jessica was rare , and even getting sympathy from her was even more rare. But the thing that she never did was get hurt by somebody's words , and what Quade just told her almost hurt her enough for tears to roll down her cheeks. But they didn't.

Letting him go she said ," I will always be there for you Quade. I don't care if we just met .. count me as one of your friends. Alright?"[/color]

The ends of Quade's lips curled a little bit, not enough to notice. "thanks. that is why i was crying... i never cryed about that in my entire life. even right after the fact."
