Fun Time

Vicky walked into the lounge. She felt so hyper today. She was going to break a rule now, but she couldn't help it or stop herself. She jumped onto the sofa, jumped on it for a few seconds, then came down and sat on it. She probably had too much sugar today. She had lots of candy today for snack. " Ugh. If only I could have some fun right now, but I'm really tired. If someone could make me "un-hyper"....... " Vikcy said to herself. She hoped nobody had seen her jumping up and down on the sofa. If somebody did, she would be dead meat.

Vanessa had been in a chair facing away from the sofa, finishing up her Arithmancy reading, and had seen Vicky jumping on the sofa. Not like she cared, or was going to tell or anything. Vicky was her friend who had helped her through many tough times. It would be better if Vicky just didn't know I'm here, she thought.
