First Step

[Miley Riddle]

Miley bite her lip gently as she pushed the castle doors open and walked outside. This was her first time since coming to Hogwarts. She'd spent the first week unpacking and adjusting to the new environment. She was wearing a pair of jeans, a black t-shirt, and her sneakers. Her normal thing. Once she was out on the lawn she smiled abit and plopped down on the ground.

It was nice to feel the sun on her face, the slight breeze blowing through her hair. Her smile growing abit she opened the notebook that had been in her hand and began writing in it with her quill, which had been in her other hand.

Poe wlaked up to the girl "Hello how are you today?" Poe asked the girl in a daze.

Miley looked up from her notebook. "I'm fine thank you. How are you? I'm Miley by the way. Pleased to meet you." She said, smiling and setting the notebook beside her.

"Oh im Poe and it is very nice to meet you." Poe smiled at the girl.

Miley pushed a strand of her blond hair behind her ear. "Poe? That's a nice name. Where are you from? I'm from England. Well, partly. About a year ago we moved to America so my father could work with some Arabians they had there. Beautiful horses." She smiled, realizing she'd started her horse talk again.

"I was obrn in Australlia," Poe remembered how much fun she had there.

"That's cool. I've always loved Australlia. Never been there, but my father has. He said it was beautiful." Miley said with a smile.

"It is beautiful the open rodes man i loved it there...but i moved as you can see to london to become a teacher here.." Poe looked at the girl and smiled back.

Miley nodded. "I've lived here all my life. In a little cabin up in the woods. Closest town was three miles away." She smiled, remembering how nice it was to be on her own with her little sister, Leslie.
