Escaping

[Miley Riddle]

Miley once again shook her head. "No, Leslie, I'm not going to worry about you falling out of your window. I'm going to start to worry about you jumping." Miley laughed, which showed she was joking. "But really back home it was just you and me. I mean I home schooled you as much as I could. I didn't want you to have deal with all the teasing. Here I can't really protect you from that." Miley sighed. She was starting to feel like a mother having to let her child go.

[Leslie Riddle]

"Are you crazy? I wouldn't jump," Leslie said grinning, slapping her sister on the arm again. She looked at her sister seriously now. "I'll be okay here. I promise. Today was just..." She faltered. "It won't happen again. Though ya know what the Divination teacher said? She said my future was bleak and that I'm going to die here or something. At least that's what I got from it. She's really positive isn't she?" Leslie said, rolling her eyes and still grinning. "Divination is the worst subject ever. It's stupid," She said, sighing.

"Well, now, you know what I've always said. The worst subject is the subject you work the hardest in. Plus you know how Divination teachers are. It's just a thing." Miley reasured her little sister, a small smile on her face.

[Leslie Riddle]

"Yeah I know. They're insane!" Leslie exclaimed. "Thing was, she told me to stay after class and she got all creepy when she'd said what she said. It was really weird. Maybe I'll drop Divination, she's starting to freak me out," Leslie said, laughing a little nervously.

[Miley Riddle]

Miley shook her head. "The Riddles never back down. Once we step foot into something we stay foot in that something. That's what I've always said. Don't droppin' that class. Just prove her wrong." Miley said, giving a nod of her head to show that she, of course, agreed with herself.

[Leslie Riddle]

"I don't know..." Leslie said, unsure of herself. Rarely did she sound so unsure. "I'm tired," She stated simply, laying her head on Miley's shoulder. "Almost drowning kinda wears you out," She said, smiling. She really was tired.

Miley rolled her eyes. "Fine, you should go take a nap. It'll make you feel better. Really Lessy you should cut back on the drowning. Oh and I'm not a pillow." With that and a small smirk Miley stood up, which forced Leslie's head off her shoulder.

In the short moment when Leslie had laid her head down, she had fallen asleep, and she hit her head on the hard bench arm. She woke and rubbed her head. "You're so mean," Leslie said, seeming a little cross. "Of course you're a pillow, didn't you know?" She teased, smiling slightly.
