[Miley Riddle]

Miley stopped chewing her lip. "So...."She said, unsure of where to go from here. Sighing abit she set her hand down, unaware that it was right next to Jared's.

Jared felt something slightly touch his hand and he looked over at it. He noticed that it was Miley's hand that was touching his so he moved his on top of hers. Hoping she would let him hold it before he completely did. He looked at her and waited for some notion of approval if she didn't care that he held it. If she did then he was guessing that she would just pull it away, or say something about it.

When Miley felt Jared's hand on her's she bite her lip. At first she wasn't sure what to do. Slowly she started to calm down and finally she looked over him, smiling sweetly.

Jared wasn't sure if it was still o.k. or not to hold her hand so he gently asked her." do you mind? " and he waited for a reply. He hoped that this wasn't too demanding. He wasn't even sure if he was ready for handholding or not.

Miley looked at the lake then back at Jared. "I don't mind.." She said gently, though it was obvious she was a little nervous. She wasn't sure if she was ready for this, then again she'd never been put in this type of situation before.

with that reply, Jared gently grabbed her hand and held onto it. He was pretty nervous. " what is your favorite class?" he asked her, having this be the only thing that happened to be in his head to start a conversation at the time.

Miley smiled alittle when Jared held her hand. "Oh, I don't know. I think I'm into potions the most. What about you?" She asked, looking over at him.

" i think that i like taking DADA the most. It is cool to learn about all the creatures and stuff. In lesson 2 we are going to learn about Vampires. Cool huh? I like potions too though. Too bad the classes haven't started yet though. I did sign up for it. " Jared started to swing his legs alittle, as they were haning off the deck

(((OOC: it would be kind of hard for me to swing my legs if they weren't hanging off of anything...LOL =]... gotta go...sorry!)))

Miley nodded abit. "Yeah DADA seems like it might be kinda cool. I'm not of the class type though. Classes haven't started yet and I've already read every book in the library on the subject. I hate reading, but with Leslie around it's alittle hard not to read. The girl's either running or reading." Miley laughed alittle and looked out at the lake, tilting her head to the side.

Jared laughed, every book in the library! How long did it take you to read all the books? I like taking classes and I like learning but I don't do very good at it. So i try not to take too many classes at one time. Becuase then i will get too much homework and lose track of everything. It has happened before...at a muggle school though." Jared stopped shaking his legs and looked out to where the 2 people were still standing. He just watched them haning out and laughing. He didn't know what they were up to though and was kind of curious to know. He just ignored the thought of it though and stared at a blade of grass that was next to him.

"Well, actually I skimmed through some and made my little sister read the rest. Then she told the more important facts. Like I said I'm not into books. Yeah I failed all my classes at my muggle school. That's why I dropped out. That and so I could home school Leslie. Spent most of my time taking care of the house while she was out being a kid." Miley said, looking out at the lake. "The lake's the only good thing about this place. Well almost. The lake back home wasn't this pretty."

"aaah..." Jared said, not so confused anymore. " I bet it must have been some hard work, homeschooling your sister, taking care of yourself and your sister, cleaning the house, and letting your sister be a kid. How did you do it?" Jared said sarcastically and smiled, " yeah, there aren't a lot of pretty lakes anymore. I think this is the best one that i have seen." Jared looked out at the length of the lake and smiled a bigger smile.

Miley shook her head. "Not really. I stopped thinking about me so that I could take better care of her. And if I had to I'd do it all over again. I'm not sure how I did it to tell you the truth." Miley looked into the lake's depths. "Yeah same here. It's great to swim in. Never swam in anything like it." She smiled as she glanced over at Jared.

Jared looked at her and said," yeah,that is nice. So. Do you want to get back in? " Jared asked this and looked at Miley, waiting for a reply from her.

Miley looked over at Jared. "Oh, I don't care. If you want to get back in we can." She said, smiling as she looked at him.
